You and I are called to an ever-deepening life of prayer.

Think about it for a minute.

• Where does your next breath come from?
• Who is sustaining your existence?
• Who keeps your heart beating?
• Who designed this intricate, ordered wonder called human life?

The truth is that God is present–loving you and me even as we read these words.

God created and designed us for prayer. True prayer is an intimate, loving relationship with the Living God. Prayer unites us with God and makes us instruments of his loving plan.

John Paul II once said...
" The future is in the hands of prayer"

My future... You future... The future of our families and our world... in the hands of prayer.

You and I hold the key to this relationship with God that we call prayer. It's called free will. Prayer is not forced upon us. We must choose daily to pray. Prayer is like any good relationship: it must be cultivated and deepened over time. Yet it seems so easy in our busy and distracting world to forget...

We forget that God is present here, now and always. We forget that God is sustaining and loving us with every breath we take. We forget that God is longing for us to surrender our hearts in prayer.
Imagine if we really allowed these words of Jesus to penetrate into the depth of our being...
" I am with you always" (Mt 28:20)

God is calling us all at this important time in history. We are called to deepen our relationship with him. We care called now, always, and forever... TO PRAY.

DAILY PRAYER MEDITATION: Listen to God speaking in the depth of your heart... "I am with you always." (Mt. 28:20)
